What do you think is the best treatment for teenage acne?

In 14 and have mild acne I have proactive and tazorack and there not cutting it any suggestions?

i would ask your docter about acutane. it works good but it is a prescription medicine
Neutrogena has a good product called Acne spot remover. You can get it in clear a formula, so you can put it on without anyone knowing. it's about $6. 00. Clinique also has a great acne spot remover. It' about $15. 00. It's available at most Belk's. this works better. A dermatologist can also prescribe an antibiotic. do not wash your face with a product that dries your face out. Most bath soaps will do this. Try Oil of Olay moisture - rich cream cleanser. normal to dry. It helps keep your skin balanced. It's about $6. 00. If this does become an acute form of acne, ask about Accutane. It's a miracle drug. I fight acne for 7yrs. After taking accutane, I have been acne free. It's been two yrs
Tried everything in my youth. Saw many dermatologists. Finally got one on a good day and in a generous mood. Dove Soap, 1 / 4 Moisturizing found almost everywhere soap is sold. Scented or Unscented works. 1. Dampen face with luke - warm water. 2. Lather hands with soap. 3. Gently apply in circular motions to the entire face, between the s of nose & face, lips, between eyebrows, in the eyebrows, neck, everyhere. 4. Gently splash the room temp water against your face and rinse the soap away. do not push your hands into your face and rub!. Always Splash until all of the soap is gone. If your face still feels oily, then repeat the process once more from this point. 5. DAB your face with a clean, dry towel. do not rub it! Only dab, and Gently. Gentleness is important throughout the process. If your face still feels oily, repeat the process. I usually have to do it twice before I actually "feel" the clean. Takes about a week to clear everything up but you will see and feel a big difference after the first wash. Do it once in the morning and once before bed. Nothing that I tried was nearly as effective

Ok, this is exactly what I had, if you still have your proactive then your fine. What you do is, instead of taking the recommended amounts to wash, you put in a little bit extra, also on the first cleansing step remember to scrub really hrad for atleast 1 - 2 minutes. If any pimples explode suring this process then squeeze them until you get the clog out. Another thing that helps is if you buy the proactive mask, if you have it, remmeber to do it 2x a week. Also remeber to do the cleansings 2x a day day and night Remember this isn;t an instant cure, but after about 2 weeks, it will clear up, and remeber, when it does clear up, continue use as usual to stay that way
